Community Connect is a planning resource to “connect” our local residents, businesses, event planners and our community together in one portal. It is a resource to feel connected when it comes to community events and to bring awareness to what is happening in the community of Salmon Arm and the Shuswap Region.

2. If you are a business owner, it will help you know who is visiting when and how to schedule accordingly and to be well prepared to welcome our guest
3. It will help our local representatives, whether you're an employee or an employer, or a local resident, to know what's happening so everyone can help share information and be well informed
4. It will help volunteers get more involved and feel engaged with the community and all the activities and events happening
5. It will help community organizers plan community events in synergy with other events to help add value to overall stay and ideally encourage our guest for longer stays
6. It will help our accommodators and business owners to plan respectively for higher travel visitation times
